Calls with Joey
Joey is an AI assistant, not Giorgio. Your microphone is only used after you start a call and allow it in your browser. Calls end after five minutes, and you can mute or hang up at any time.
During a call your audio is sent to OpenAI’s Realtime API, which produces Joey’s replies and the live transcript. OpenAI handles that data under its API data policies.
What is saved
- Recording. Calls are recorded: one stereo audio file with your voice and Joey’s. It is uploaded after the call to private storage (Vercel Blob) that only Giorgio can access.
- Transcript. The transcript, along with a private link to play the recording, is posted to Giorgio’s Slack. Recordings and their playback links are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Call details. Call metadata such as duration, which tools Joey used and model usage goes to PostHog.
Giorgio uses these to improve the assistant. Avoid sharing anything sensitive on a call. To have a recording and transcript deleted sooner, message Giorgio on LinkedIn with the approximate time of your call.
Preferences & analytics
The device remembers theme, sound and game scores in your browser. When enabled, PostHog records usage events such as section visits and selected links. Nothing resumes automatically on your next visit.
